I've been here multiple times and have always had ...

I've been here multiple times and have always had a nice experience. However, this past time was extremely disappointing and borderline offensive. Not because of the cave itself, because of issues that were not only ignored, but shushed away without so much as an apology. My friend and I were subjected to a man exposing himself to us and others as well as committing....how to put this nicely...... enjoying himself too much IN public, IN the caves (a CRIME). This included him coming in multiple times to the women's locker room and exposing himself and not leaving. (I have NO issue with nudity and have frequented clothing optional places.) But when you don't follow the rules of the establishment (VApor caves is NOT clothing optional), that's not ok and clearly made others very uncomfortable to say the least. We I a second day hoping it would be "less eventful" and I truly don't know why we bothered giving them our business. I understand that things happen and business owners can't control everything. But when we asked what happened with the man yesterday (the cops were called so I know someone reported him), all we got was an excuse that, "he snuck in by hopping the wall and had cancer." First, what does having an illness have to do with exposing yourself to a group of people? Secondly, that wall is easily over 8ft tall and solid concrete. Unless he was Superman, there is no way he hopped that wall and sounds like a cop out excuse. People who come are given ONE towel, at the front and are forced to pay for extra towels if they want one (chintzy move in and of itself). These are issued to you at the front door and I've never seen one laying around. If he'd snuck in, he wouldn't have had access to said towel. I call b.s. that he snuck in and not to sound callous, but his "cancer" story, doesn't fly as an excuse for committing a sexual offense. Second major offense: nude exposure aside, everyone had to choose a two hour time frame to maintain COVID safety measures. However, when we mentioned that our time was up in a while to fellow patrons, an entire group told us not to bother because they'd been there for four hours and no one was checking. No wonder it kept getting busier! So not only were we subjected to a flasher "pleasuring himself" with not so much as an "I'm sorry that happened," we were actually charged extra for a hand towel. A HAND TOWEL. How about an "our bad, have an extra towel for the inconvenience." Or JUST a, "so sorry you had that experience." In no way did we expect anything free, discounted, etc. because of the previous day, but the gesture was the least they could've done. We also felt ripped off because we left early knowing that others weren't respecting the COVID restrictions. I believe it is upon the staff and the owner to make sure these rules are being followed. We went to a different hot springs that night (not the massive one), and they had it down to a fine science assuring no one went over their time limit and it was a much larger facility. It's doable. I don't expect additional services or concessions even if something happened that was not the fault of the owner, but I d@arn well expect some sympathy for the unpleasant experience and follow COVID rules!!!!!!!!!
