I absolutely LOVE Penny Lane Studios. As a curly girl who lived in NYC for many years I was spoiled by the ability to go to Devachan Salon for my curly cuts. After moving to Chicago I spent a good 6 years trying various stylists to tame my curls. Finally I found Coral and the staff at Penny Lane and my heart is so happy. Coral is absolutely amazing with curly hair. Not only is she a Deva trained stylist, she also trains other people in the methods, so she's always up to date on the current methods, and is really at the top of her curly hair game. I've also witnessed other stylists transform curly guys and gals and they appear to be just as talented (there were legit tears at the results people). The vibe is equal parts Logan Square awesomeness, chill laid back, and totally adorable. Throw in a dog or two and I'm in heaven! As long as I live in Chicago Coral & Penny Lane will be my go to for hair. And if I move? I may just come back just for haircuts!!
