I've always enjoyed going to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, ever since I was very young and my parents would bring my sisters and I to the fair.
The Dutchess County Fairgrounds hasn't lost the "Old time Fair" feel and appeal, it feels like you're stepping back in time! There are well thought out paths that are black topped so there's no worry of slipping on loose dirt pathways and potentially injuring an ankle or knee, plus, it makes pushing a stroller or a wheelchair very easy, literally anyone can enjoy the Fairgrounds.
There's always dozens of food vendors, from the "Olde Time" favorites like Fried Dough, Sausage and Peppers, and the incredible 4H Milkshakes (I'd drag myself on my knuckles over gravel roads for the 4H Milkshakes!), to the more modern Veggie Platters, there's something for everyone!
There's plenty to do and see at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, live music, 4H displays and competitions, tons of rides and games, lots of various vendors, and the list goes on and on!
