Between a flooded toilet and an unconcerned management, Shangri-la is a fading establishment from her distant glory.

If you really want to feel like garbage, splurge on their RM 11,000 a night room with even more plumbing issues, where the people lack the hospitality that a RM 50 a night resort can provide.

The only consolation being the friendly Nepali staff who seems to be the only employees willing to spend their time sharing their stories with you.
