International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (Bengali Translation: International Business, Agriculture and Technology University) is the first private university in Bangladesh. The University was established under the private university law of 1991. In the year 1992 the university started issuing degrees. Thailand has their cooperation agreement with Assumption University of Bangkok. The University is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
