I have had Gainsco for 6 months and this is my 7th month (renewal month). The issue is a consistent one; website is usually down for online payments and automated phone payment rarely provides the correct information (for example, my bill is due on September 14th but the automated system states that my payment is due October 14th. I have yet to pay September's bill.). When it is necessary to contact customer service, the average hold time is 45 minutes to an hour. The customer service reps are always nice, and Nika was extremely helpful. Hiwever, I will definitely go back to United Automobile Insurance (UAI). The prices are the same, system is rarely (if ever) down, information is always correct, wait time is reasonable, and (best of all) NO LATE FEES as long as you pay before midnight on the day your policy is due.
