What a fun brunch! Thinking I'd never be able to drink a cup of thick hot chocolate but wanting to experience the incredible pastries and tea-room feel, I made reservations to Angelina on our first morning in Paris. It was right next to our hotel so easy to pop over. Boy was I wrong about the hot chocolate...it is amazing!!! My husband and I were shocked at how much we loved it. We each had eggs (his scrambled, mine benedict) and croissants they were fine, no complaints. I ordered one of the gorgeous pastries and was blown away...wow. The service was excellent, it's a touristy place but didn't feel that way while there. We were seated quickly in the lovely front room (I would not have been happy if we'd been sat in the back room, yuck), and things were efficient but not rushed. We took home some hot chocolate for our kids, though how could it possibly be the same? Would I make a trip here again? Maybe if I was with my kids or friends who had never been or was just stopping in to grab a hot chocolate to go, because it's a bit overpriced, but definitely worth a trip if you've never been!
