In the dozen or so years we've been "forced" customers of NHEC (not our choice), the outages have seemingly been more frequent than the outages experienced by our neighbors who have PSNH or Unitil. The price is very competitive but when you have a pacemaker dependent upon reliable electric service, you literally take your life in your hands. The answer I received was "backup generators are very popular". It seems that with every storm, the power goes out and the frustration increases as you can see lights on the homes serviced by PSNH. Utterly ridiculous!
