I went today with my grandson and his friend. I really found most of it very depressing as the animals looked bored and enclosures miserable. The elephants were standing swaying backwards and forwards and the lions small field was very muddy with sad looking lions . I felt like crying!! The zoo needs a massive overhaul NOW,!
I m sure everyone who works and cares for the animals does so with love but surely this is not in our modern age a suitable habitat for a lot of the animals ?
