Dining here is as much about the view as it is about the food. Taking the elevator from the busy casino floor to the restaurant, you exit to be greeted by the kitchen. Around the corner and into a beautiful and romantic dining space facing the Las Vegas Strip. Floor to ceiling glass makes the beautiful lights of the Strip and the Bellagio fountains across the way the show you enjoy as you dine. We were lucky to get a table for two right at the glass but most every seat was a great view. Service begins with a lovely amuse bouche of Roasted Potato and Leek Soup. Rather than order the tasting menu, we built our own. For appetizers we had the Warm Lobster Salad, Creamed Corn, Double Smoked Bacon, Basil and the Escargots Petits Gris, Sunchoke Pudding, Flageolets, Herb Garlic Butter, Jus de Poulet. I have to say, the Sunchoke Pudding was amazing. For the second course we had the Sweet Corn Soup, with Bay Scallops was very good. The main courses we had were the Muscovy Duck Breast and the Bone-in Pork Chop. They were good but the portions were actually far larger than we had expected. An odd complaint but I would have preferred a smaller portion with a little more intensity to flavor. We ended our meal with the Grand Mariner Souffle and the Chocolate Souffle. Honestly, they were okay but I ve made better. Again, the portion was huge and lacking in flavor. My advice would be to stick to the cocktails and appetizers. Above all else, enjoy the view!
