It s beautiful from the outside. It s even beautiful on the inside. The problem, however, is that it s only beautiful if you don t look closely... Ventilation grates already corroding, hot tub frequently needing service/repairs, and steam room door no longer closing properly are only a few of the many breakdowns. How is the West Vancouver Rec Center so much nicer even though it s older? This facility was built around the same time as the UBC one, and the latter clearly outshines the former.
