Our family vacation, with two kids here, was good. The beach location is perfect. However, you can hear the car race track that is nearby. The Aqua Mundo swimming paradise and petting zoo are ideal for children.
However, the hut for 8 people was quite "cute". The furniture is worn out and run down. The cleanliness left something to be desired: dust on the closet, cobwebs on the patio door, moldy shower curtains, dirt under the beds (my husband and I moved a bed, otherwise we would have had separate beds). A steep staircase leads to the top. Very dangerous for our three year old. A plug on a lamp no longer had insulation. We have already been to Center Park on Bostalsee and in France. We felt the least comfortable here in Zaandfort. Unfortunately we will not come here anymore. My husband was very unhappy with his bed because it was very saggy. The standard here is very outdated.
