My sister and I went here around 10pm on Monday night to kill time before the fireworks. We both ordered fountain drinks and an order of Chicken nachos to share from the app menu. Nachos were horrible. When we got the check (after she FINALLY came back from who the hell knows where for 15 min), we gave the server both of our cards to split the total 50/50. Not split the check. Run 50% on one card and 50% on the other card. She freezes and says oh we can t split checks. I said why not? We just can t. There will be a fee of like $2.
I used to be a server for 5 years. You tell people you can t split checks when it s a party of 15 and you re in the weeds. There was hardly anyone at this place. So, I went ahead and put it in all on mine. She screwed herself out of a bigger tip. Bc my sister and I tip over 20% each when they charge us 50/50. Maybe the server should inform ppl of this $2 split check fee when they take the orders.
