I initially went to Dr Kern Singh for a second opinion for my neck pain. I had been told by a different surgeon that I needed a multilevel cervical fusion. At 56 years old I wasn t ready to lose all the flexion and extension in my neck. Dr Singh and his staff met with me and reviewed my MRI and felt I was a perfect candidate for the Mobi C multilevel mobile discs. I had my surgery at RUSH Medical Center in Chicago and can not say enough positive things about the hospital and it s staff. My surgery lasted about 40 minutes and I was able to travel 2 hours back home that same evening. I am 6 weeks post op and doing great! I wasn t required to wear a cervical collar post op and returned to work 1 week post op to a desk type job. Dr Singh and his staff have been extremely professional, and helpful at every step along the way. Several times I had questions or concerns and his staff responded very promptly to my needs. I am a registered nurse so I know more than the average individual about surgical procedures, complications, and recovery. This also made me more particular in choosing a surgeon to operate on my neck knowing the many risks involved. I highly recommend Dr Kern Singh and his staff!
