I d be very cautious when using Courtney. I got my 1yr touch up in late August and by mid December most of the strokes were completely gone and it was just bare skin. What s left is just mild shading. I d texted her twice to see if that was normal to lose the pigment so quickly (especially since my brows before my 1yr lasted a fair amount of time). Weeks after I d first texted her and still receiving no reply to either text, I checked her IG to see if perhaps she d changed her phone number or wasn t posting anymore but saw neither of those were why she d never responded. I left a comment on her recent photo voicing my frustration at not receiving a reply and having my brows disappear so quickly this time.
Within minutes of leaving the comment she texted me, apologized and said she d recently had her baby and could reschedule when she came back from her maternity leave. I was happy there was finally some communication and I could totally buy that she d gotten busy and had just forgot to reply to the first text (we ve all done that) and having her baby is absolutely a valid reason to not reply to the 2nd one. So after getting her text I immediately went to remove my comment on her IG because it was no longer accurate that she wasn t replying and I didn t want people to see a negative comment about an issue I thought was being resolved. However, I saw either before she d initially texted me or right afterwards, (but before I d even had a chance to text her back) she had blocked me on IG and friends who were still following her confirmed she d deleted my comment.
I was very surprised at such an overreaction and messaged her back that I wouldn t be needing to reschedule as well as that I thought it was unprofessional blocked me for a valid concern, that was worded neither aggressively nor threateningly, before even trying to resolve things with me. She replied with quite a passive aggressive text that was one part trying to justify her overreaction and the other part heavy on trying to guilt trip me for bringing up her strange behavior. I m not going to post what that text said because it was just so bizarre.
Her behavior was unprofessional and disappointing, especially since I was originally texting her to see if it was normal and if it was I was just going to book another (paid) appointment. I wouldn t suggest anyone get their brows done by her for the first time or for their touch ups either. She did beautiful work, initially, but they re not worth the money (and the physical pain) when they don t last longer than 3 months and having to deal with her awful behavior that came afterwards.
