The decision to fix my teeth in my early 30s was a scary one, but in a little over a year, Dr. Royal completely changed my life. I cannot imagine having gone on this journey with another orthodontist, for a number of reasons. First of all, Dr. Royal is extremely thorough and really takes the time to explain the full range of options available to you. She doesn t push the most expensive option AND is realistic about what you can expect from her, and what will be expected of you to get ideal results. I chose to get corrective jaw surgery with a surgeon recommended by Dr. Royal. They worked together seamlessly to make me a surgical plan and made a very overwhelming experience as comfortable as it could be. I felt so supported throughout this entire process, from Invisalign, to braces to jaw surgery, to maintaining my perfectly straight teeth! Dr. Royal loves what she does and cares so much about her patients and it comes through in everything she does. On top of that, she has a beautiful office and amazing staff (Melissa, Agnes and Christian!), all of whom I ll miss now that the orthodontia is behind me.
