Room service 9:30pm last order

The reason we booked this hotel was being the member. We don't regret the decision however the property is slightly outdated but that would be a nit pick to what they had offered.

It took us 11 hours to reach here on a touring bike from Bangkok and soon as we entered, we heard construction noises. We were dead tired and wanted isolated quiet room. They immediately upgraded us to a bigger quieter room. Service from the very starting was so very pleasing and satisfactory. This was the second most satisfactory stay after THE LEELA AMBIANCE in DELHI INDIA. We still consider that hotel the best in the whole world.

We ordered room service, some Thai dishes and sandwiches plus the Thai Tea and man it blew our expectations. It is very rare that you rate 5 stars but food here was more than i could ask for.

There wasn't enough time for the fitness but seeing Steam and Sauna was a relief. There weren't many people at this time, infact we only saw about 2 families but the management has done really well in keeping housekeeping to the prompt.

SUGGESTIONS:
1) we were hoping to watch go pro videos to TV but since it is not a smart TV, we had to buy a wifi accessory from the mall next day. I wish they had a smart TV that could connect easily being able to enjoy watching them during stays.

2) another thing is if there is a returning customer, there is no need of asking for passports/documents again. We stayed for 2 nights and then went to Pai for a night. After Pai we then came back to Shangri La for another night and the lady asked for passports again, so one of the male staff interrupted and told her that there was no need. (Appreciate that). Lets make things as easy as possible so we all enjoy our stay.
