Seven Springs Mountain Resort is absolutely amazing with all the super fun slopes and trails. Yes it may be expensive, but if you do everything right, you might come away spending less money than the average joe. If you ski a lot, you should buy a season pass. The ideal time to buy it is late march. You get the rest of the season and all of next season for less than $400 (does not include Highlands pass). And you should also pack your lunch and sit in the maple room in the main lodge. In the room, you are permitted to bring a packed lunch. Seven Springs is awesome enough, but if you know how to spend your money, it's even more awesome.
