I ve Been having the same issue with my radio for a few months now. I Have basically been told that I just have to deal with it at this point. This last time I came in the technician was very rude to me and made me feel as if my problem doesn t matter and that I m just basically complaining for fun as if I enjoy having this issue with my car. I have never leased a car before and figured this would be the best bet for me since if I did have any issues they would fix the them. Wow was I wrong. I will probably never come back to this dealership after my lease is up from this whole experience honestly. I know it may not matter to them as I m just one person and they are a large dealership but I will definitely let everyone I know about my experience and how my issue is unimportant to them. It freezes completely sometimes not allowing me to even use the screen sometimes or it doesn t allow me to use my Bluetooth with my cellphone without disconnecting and reconnecting. The technician basically blamed it begin my phone even though my girlfriends phone does the same thing and any other Equinox I ve been in I ve never had or heard of this issue. I have made multiple videos showing the issue to them trying to help them as it does several other weird issues and they still just really don t care honestly but since it don t perform the issue when I bring the car In to get looked at since it only randomly does this issue not constantly. I m basically just complaining in their eyes. I would understand if the radio did this like one or twice like most technology does but begin a brand new car and not even really begin able to use the Bluetooth daily on my phone is really upsetting in my eyes as this is a big feature I use daily. Not only for my personal use but my safety as this allows me to not hold the actual phone but this literally does this at least once a day if not every other it just kinda depends. So since it don t perform the issue when they looked at the car a few times then basically I get the car returned and get told sorry there is nothing we can do it s Chevy or whatever excuse they give like oh it s cause you have a apple phone or they make you feel like I m just annoying and bothering them and wasting their time. I recently had a issue with my tire. I accidentally hit a pot hole causing the tire to be ruined. When I leased the vehicle out I got this added protection as a part of my monthly payment. When I went into the dealership the next day I was told that expired the first year of the lease even though there was no mention of this program begin on a timeline and as I m still paying them as apart of my monthly payment after the first year. So it didn t make sense to me that I would be still paying this as a part of my monthly payment but the tires weren t covered? Anyways luckily the guy sitting next to where I was begin helped so no tires are covered . Luckily he said something or I probably would have had to pay out of pocket for something i thought should be covered. It s not the first time I ve had work done on my car and they won t give me my keys back cause they thought I owed them money but after they got ahold of someone again it was covered. Just very frustrating and unsettling not knowing what s gonna pop up saying I owe them money for something I m thinking should be covered especially when your new to this whole leasing process really makes you not wanna come back or lease with them again. Still to this day I m unsure and don t really know what is and isn t covered with the program I m on and the whole reason I signed and got the car that day was cause they made me feel like those things would be covered and I would have to worry but then after they got you signed and are getting your money it s a whole other story. I was wanting to purchase the Vehicle after the end of my lease but with this issue and my whole experience that will definitely not be happening at this point!
