We drove to Whitby which was a lovely place to visit with a busy harbour and great a pub called the Duke of York. On the way back we travelled through the North Yorkshire moors National park. The scenery was like nothing I've seen, a desolate beauty which I found wonderful and peaceful. We drove straight past RAF Fylingdales and the Pyramid radar, a landmark that I always wanted to see.
