In 2014, I completed a 28 day treatment program at The Farley Center for Alcoholism. I will never ever forget this place as long as I live. I arrived here feeling guilt, shame, hopeless, helpless, denial and so on... When I left with the tools for living, I began to change for the better. I remain sober and clean today, going on 5 years. It is of utmost importance that I do not take my sobriety for granted. It is vital I maintain and manage my sobriety numero uno above everything. The Farley Center assigned me to a strict counselor while I was there. He taught me that going to meetings is essential, having a sponsor to guide me, of course, a higher power of my understanding, and everything else suggested to manage being sober. I am indebted and forever grateful for The Farley Center helping me to begin life again.
