On the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, called Costa Smeralda, is the Marina dell'Orso di Poltu Quatu. Strategically located because
easily reachable from every corner of the Mediterranean, the Marina dell'Orso becomes the ideal base for those who want to tour the archipelago of La Maddalena. A glimpse of the red Caprera is stolen from Poltu Quatu, while La Maddalena, Santa Maria, Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli, Lavezzi, Cavallo and Corsica are just a little further on. In Sardinia, history and culture blend with a landscape that is not there
may hesitate to define among the most beautiful in the world. Poltu Quatu, port crouched in Sardinian, is located in the fjord geographically referred to as Stintino dell'Orso. Poltu Quatu is the reproduction of an ancient fishing village, built around the classic circular square, with narrow alleys and perched houses, inserted in a unique environment where the pink granite rocks are sometimes harsh and sometimes smooth like "stone clouds". The rocks frame a crystalline sea, where you can count the grains of sand at twenty meters
depth. Even inside the fjord the sea is clear and it is not uncommon to see fish and octopuses swimming undisturbed on the bottom. Poltu Quatu was born in 1987 with the intention of creating a landing place to allow those who love the sea to sail without having to give up the little pleasures of life.
