Grand View Lodge is absolutely beautiful. We stayed there for a night before we dropped our son of at the local summer camp, and we will stay there for another night when we pick him up. The main complex is stunning, it's historic (on the national registry, in fact) and as picturesque as a postcard. We did not stay in one of the cabins at the main complex; we stayed across the street at the buildings on the golf course. Our room was great, it had a full living room with kitchenette and a bedroom with 2 queen beds. The living room could also be converted to a bedroom (which we did for our son), there was a Pullman bed as well as a pullout bed in the couch. The shower in the bathroom was great, there were a million channels on the television, the only thing that I can possibly say that was a negative was parking, which was pretty tight. Otherwise, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the restaurant that we had dinner at, On the Rocks, had a stunning view of the complex and the food was excellent. Definitely looking forward to staying there again and using the pool!
