SAFE OR NOT - 2013 BMW 320i X drive!

SAFE OR NOT - 2013 BMW 320i X drive!
I am disillusioned with how a brand of a vehicle such as BMW with a long history of engineering would allow such an engineering design flaw to be sold publicly? How and why would an engineer put the battery of the vehicle in the trunk with only electronic access, to the aforementioned trunk? How, and why, did the lead engineer or whoever needed to sign the design did not catch such a miserable design. I am flabbergasted how no one has even looked at this potential safety issue? For example, if my battery is on fire inside the trunk of this 2013 BMW 320i X drive, how can I open the trunk, with only an electronically control access, and put the fire out (health hazard, and potentially life-threatening)? If there was a manual way of accessing such an hazard then probable fatalities could be avoided, however, the way it is now, there is no way of accessing the battery to extinguish the fire in the trunk!!!! I am a concerned owner of a BMW 320i X-drive, with no access to the trunk of the vehicle, with the keys in hand.
There is a simple and low-cost remedy for such a potentially life-threatening hazard. I have tried to contact BMW many times and I received a voicemail saying they would like to follow up and without leaving an extension, then the next voicemail had an extension, then by talking to them it was all on me, according to the company s representative, at customer care. This company not only is ill-run but unfortunately, the product's design is not well thought of and it is lacking the needed tool. The only reason to buy a luxury vehicle is not just the power or torque or how it looks, it is also comfort, ease of use, and most of all, is the safety of a vehicle! As far as customer care, the only thing that I did not feel talking to them was the CARE or lack thereof! They want the customer to take the vehicle to their authorized dealer for diagnostics and, who pays for this, the customer, then they will review and evaluate the issue! I ask of anyone what does access to a locked electronic trunk release with disconnected positive cable has to do with diagnostics? We already are aware that with disconnected positive battery cable from its positive post, there is no electricity, so there is a broken circuit, therefore what are they trying to diagnose? Or are they only looking to make money for the tow and diagnostics which is pretty hefty price and not free! This is a manufacturer's design flaw! It has to be remedied for all such vehicles, not just one, at the expense of the manufacturer! There should be a review of the Auto industry and not allow such manufacturers to put the safety of their customers last on their list and their profit the highest! This is BMW an expensive, luxury vehicle! By doing some research on the complaints, I came to acknowledge that this company is one of the worst run companies with a reputation that justifies their lack of customer care and safety!
If anyone reads this and has had the same problem, please voice your complaint any where a comment or review is available since this company does not care about their customers, so they need to know that peoples lives are not a toy for big corporations in my opinion!
