FLVS is definitely very heavy-handed with the work required for each course. If you plan on taking your entire school online, be prepared to work quite a bit. DBAs can be frustrating and nerve-wracking for students with social anxiety. Nevertheless, most of the teachers are encouraging. In my time there I've experienced some very unhelpful instructors, students should be aware of their rights and stand their ground if they feel they're being treated unfairly. FLVS is mostly self-motivated.

I wish the classes were more streamlined and had much less material. I found it hard to keep up with the useless bits of information they'd throw at you, it became difficult sifting through it all. I'm enrolled in college now, and even with the FOUR online courses I'm taking now, the work from all 4 classes still doesn't match even one of the FLVS courses in amount of work required. With that in mind, enroll at your own caution.
