Arrived late at night, for a 3 days workshop at the hotel, the check in process was very fast, the information that was delivered to me only the breakfast venue and my room will be on the high floor.
entered the room and shocked, since I m staying alone in the room and they gave me twin bed room and they didn t give me a notice during the check in process. Call the "at your service" button, asked to be move to a king bed room. they call back and said no king bed available.
The day after my PA emailed their event team, asked them to move me to a king bed room, they said they will contact me directly for the availability. Up until I finished my workshop and up to late at night, no one from the hotel contacted me and im pretty sure there s no blinking on the room s phone for any messages, and no printed letter as well, nothing.
The next day my PA, do the follow up and emailed their event team again and the reply was really shocking, they said they already contacted me but there s NO REPLY from me, while until I left the room in the morning I didn t see any messages nor a blinking on the phone.
Complaint hard to their front office supervisor and told them for not blaming me for not replying to them while im not receiving any message from them and they said they left me a message in the voice mail, but im really sure there s no blinking on the phone. When at night im back at the room after the workshop, finally I saw there s a blinking on the phone and I tried to hear the message by pressing the voice mail button but all I can hear is a call tone only, not connected to anywhere or anyone.
At first im only disappointed, since they can t fulfill a very simple request, but now im really annoyed by them trying to blame me on their ignorance on addressing customer request and complaint. Not to mention on their lack of creativity on contacting customer and try to solve the issue, since they have my email address, and private phone number, not to mention that im staying In the hotel the whole day for a workshop under the same company name.
They should be ashamed on the marriot 5 star world class hotel big name by the way they solving customer issues. So STOP BLAMING your customer before you check your own process and system!!!!
