I went here with my boyfriend for a couples massage, but I ve been here one other time for a massage as well. Today, I had a male masseuse (I can t remember his name), and I got the impression that he has never performed a massage before. To begin with, typically at massages, the masseuse will gently pull back the sheets delicately and pull out the limb he/she is working on. Not with this guy. He would take my arm or leg out and messily put the sheet back; it wouldn t stay so he had to keep putting it place. Second, he constantly went very near to areas that shouldn t be touched. I ve never had a masseuse massage my butt or go as close to my private areas as much as he did. I was extremely uncomfortable. Also, he didn t equally massage, as typical masseuses do. For example, he spent such a long time (way too long) massaging my left foot, and spent half as much massaging my right foot. When I flipped, and he began to (poorly) rub my arms, he pulled the sheet down way too far - I felt that my breasts were very close to being exposed. I ve never experienced a masseuse needing to pull down the sheet on my front side - yet again I was very uncomfortable. Next comes the weird part. When massaging my head, he would hold my head and place his fingers in my ears. He also massaged the outsides, but he literally put his fingers in my ear, then proceeded to put these fingers on my face. Also, he rubbed his hairy arms on my forehead.. which I found also odd. During most of the massage I was very uncomfortable and at one point I almost wanted to get up and leave. It seemed that he didn t know most masseuse techniques and I do not feel that this was worth my money. I m very disappointed with this massage and I don t know if I ll be coming back to Axios ever again.
