Bill Kasper Review of Goodtime III

Traveling from Pennsylvania, my wife and I were going to up in Cleveland over the July 4th holiday. We love fireworks so decided to find the best place in Cleveland to see them. I read a couple of articles and saw several pictures from the water. We needed to do this!
We picked the Goodtime III because of the dinner and cruise options, there were several. We picked the top deck as our cruise option. It was a few dollars more, but worth every extra penny. Access to the top deck is restricted during fireworks to ticket holders and wait service is available so you don t need to go up and down for refreshments.
The dinner cruise started with a buffet that had options for everyone. Main course items as well as sides and salads that can easily fill a plate. Non-alcoholic beverages were included, and two stocked bars served reasonably priced beer and cocktails throughout the trip. The dinner portion of the cruise included parts of the Cuyahoga River and both sides of the break wall.
For the fireworks we were only a short distance from the launch pad. The view from the top deck was absolutely amazing! An added bonus to being on the water is that you can see several other water side displays up and down the shoreline. We literally watched fireworks as far as we could see.
Another really nice touch, near the end of the cruise, the Captain visited the top deck and talked with the other guests. He truly was a nice guy.
We are from southeast Pennsylvania, but will be back on the Goodtime III for another dinner cruise.
