First carefully check the 5 star reviews for Rice Law - most of the individuals only left 1-3 reviews, only for rice law - let that sink in for a minute. (I d expect to see active reviews for several businesses). Some of the google reviews are from individuals who work there - don t let the reviews fool you in making a poor decision.

First they charge $350/hr for family law, for Daytona? Not worth it. Trust me, don t waste your time or money - they are not any better than a free public defender from my experience.

1. They would file items to the petitioner (and court) without discussing with me and would cause the other party to retaliate. I would then be billed for actions I did not agree and caused major heartache solving case. I spoke to them many times on this however The legal team continued to not care and failed to share plan before taking action.

2. Also, The attorney misunderstood the court order and was certainly an embarrassment to not only the Law, but I firmly believe the Florida bar as well. It embarrassed me too the fact I paid 350/hr for someone who could not comprehend a simple time share that sat in his possession for 6months - which I also paid for.

3. I found them untrustworthy and certainly lacked keeping track of my case. Some points I would have to remind their office of dead lines and expirations which made it feel like I paid to run a day care center.

4. Things would be guaranteed and they would not move forward or flop decision.

5. When I picked up my case files there was someone else s records in my folder. Who in the heck mixes up real estate with family law? This made me question how frequent they make these mistakes and mix up files between individual, isolated cases.

Take this as a warning and save your money and time. I swear after changing attorneys and getting rid of this circus my case is much better. Do yourself a favor, hire a free public defender before hiring rice law. My suggestion, hire an attorney that operates within a few blocks from court house - my experience they are more effective, intelligent, cheaper (the price doesn t dictate good from bad attorneys), and with my experience it is MUCH better.

DO NOT SELECT RICE LAW, YOU VE BEEN WARNED!
