Our publishing experience with Lightning Source was a never-ending headache. Our company publishes a new book every month, and during our 6 months of working with Lightning Source we were only able to publish one. Poor customer support (our rep took a week vacation without telling us while our book was overdue), slow production time, and price gauging for basic services should fend off any aspiring author/ illustrator.
