Entry fees is 150 per head. There is a huge statue of Lord Ganesha which is about 35 feet tall, after crossing which there is a 108 Om Namah Shivaya Yatra (drop 1 coin one in each of the bowls attached to the rails chanting Om Namah Shivaya ) walk a little then comes a cave inside which there is a mini version of the 12 'Jyotirlinga'. once you come out from there you can touch the huge and beautiful statue of Lord Shiva which is about 65 feet tall.The design is such that it gives a feeling as if Lord Shiva is sitting on Kailash Parvat and Devi Ganga is flowing from his head. The view is beautiful. There is a small pond in front of the statue and it is believed that it fulfils one`s wishes. If you carry a camera then pay a nominal fee without which taking pictures is prohibited.A lot of times in the evening local artists come and perform bhajans . The temple is open to devotees for 24 hours. One of the famous attractions in Bangalore.
