An unexpected visit to the Nieuw Kerk turned out to be a special surprise. Since there was no cloakroom and lockers available in the nearby Royal Palace, while no bags and backpack were allowed, we ended up at the Nieuwe Kerk, where a friendly lady indicated that when visiting the Nieuwe Kerk, the lockers were and our luggage could remain there during our visit to the Royal Palace. She even arranged tickets for us. So friendly! Nieuwe Kerk, even without coming to the exhibition, was a very nice and interesting building; beautiful hall, interesting funerary monuments of partly probably very 'wrong' figures, beautiful wooden vault and pulpit garden; but for us that friendly hostess stole the show; We had a great day in Amsterdam with the Royal Palace and unexpectedly the Nieuwe Kerk as domestic tourists, who welcomed themselves.
