I am very sorry to submit this review with this low star rating.
Unfortunately, I am forced to do this in response to the very poor handling of my property sale in many aspects.
we were approached by a real state agent who indicated that our property would sell very well. Initially we were reluctant to proceed but decided to go ahead after she made persuading promises including, agreeing that we will not have to pay the advertisement fees, before the property is sold, the property will sell more than our expected, price, and the property will be sold to investors as opposed to buyers who want to move in, allowing the property to continue to be rented.
What has then happened, was as follows:
the first interest was a person who offered a ridiculously low price which we would not look at.
The agent was dealing with the tenant without notifying the Property manager, despite we asking her to lease with the manager for inspection.
The agent is persuading us to sign a contract with the buyer who offered the low price telling me that we do not have to have a price in the contract(I have never heard this before being in the property market for the last 20 yrs)
The buyer also wanting to live in the property, and I wonder whether the agent has notified the buyer with the tenancy contract and whether the buyer is aware of the rights of the tenant to stay the contracted period.
I was hit with a bill to pay for the advertisement contra to our gentleman/gentlewoman agreement and obviously I have to pay because I signed the papers.
A second inspection was attempted ? as per the agent but the tenant would not allow them in, again the property manager was was not aware, and I wonder whether the Tenant was notified of an entry notice or not.
It is certainly not a good experience having dealing with an agent who was not up to her words and promises and perhaps wondering whether she is familiar with the tenancy laws.
I then recieve a threatening letter to state that I have to pay the rest of the advertising fees. after I initially sent a query to say that this was not our agreement with the agent. Her reply was because now we pulled out of the sale then we have to pay knowing that we pulled out because the we received the bill first and we were disappointed by the request.
Obviously we will go ahead and pay the bill but I encourage customers to be very careful in dealing with this agency..
