right in front of you. Right on the Powell Street tramline/cable car. The location in San Francisco is spot on for shops, sightseeing and getting around the city and beyond, and of course the BART for the airport. Friendly and helpful staff will greet you, and provided a good little map of the city to get you started.

The hotel is a bit old and dated but with some charm. Rooms are similar and could do with updating. Sent a message in advance for a high level room at the back...after travelling for 16 hours i knew id need some good sleep for a few days. Was at the back but unfortunately only on floor 5 which meant we were quite close to some air con units feeding other buildings, which along with the thin walls made for some difficult sleep. Fridge in room and an extensive choice of pillows to suit anyones needs.

The Wifi works fantastically well, and there is always tea, coffee and iced water in the reception for the guests. Loved the old pictures of the hotel. If you want somewhere with good value and close to everything then its a good option!
