This was my first stay at the Trail Head Lodges in Winter Park. They were so nice to us.

We drove to Winter Park and on the way I started to feel ill. We had planned on skiing all day and then arriving at the Lodge at the 4 p.m. check-in, but I really wasn't up to it. We called this company up to see if we could check in a little early. They were kind enough to do so.

Later they dropped by a water bottle with some tea and emergen-c like drinks for me. Very thoughtful. We found a problem with the heat and within 10 minutes someone dropped by to assist.

Although they are still finishing some of the buildings the construction was not a bother. The small pool and hot tub were also very nice.

They called a few minutes after we checked out to see how everything went. The rooms were large and comfortable. We had 6 people with us and it felt well sized. There were even two open bunks.
