I had an experience with E & E IT Consulting that still leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I been in contact with someone with E & E IT Consulting Services over a possible job opportunity in data entry. Ultimately, I didn't take it as it was a temporary position and I was already working one at the time. However, that position ended and I was in need of a job. A few months after that, the same lady from E & E reached out to me about a temp to hire position in the medical field. I was told the position hadn't been open to the public and they were reaching out to people who might be interested. Naturally, I was interested. I show up to meet with the lady and I'm told someone was already interviewing for the position at the company it was to be at. This position wasn't supposed to be open to the public yet, and someone was already interviewing for it??? To be fair to the lady, she had no idea this had occurred since her supervisor was the one who went ahead and did it. As it turned out, the person being interviewed was the daughter of someone he knew!! In other words, patronage at work. The lady did her best to make the best of a situation that wasn't her fault, as she gave me advice on my resume, which is the only reason why I'm giving 2 stars here instead of 1. As most of the other positions through the agency were temporary, I wasn't interested in them and I was left with nothing after showing up for a meeting. If I'm told there's a certain job available, that job better be available. Don't waste my time when I could have actually being doing something productive.
