United Way of Metro Chicago has given me hope that...

United Way of Metro Chicago has given me hope that good can be done in the Chicagoland area. Being a part of their AmeriCorps Program has lead me to a path where I never knew I would have ended up taking. My two years of service as an AmeriCorps Member in Blue Island, IL has helped me grow out of my comfort zone, learn how they are assisting my community of Blue Island, and provided professional development that I will always hold on to. Thank you, United Way of Metro Chicago for everything you have done and for everything you continue to do for people like me.
