Unfortunately, but my rave review I wrote about this store 8 months ago is getting a sour update after today.

I had bought towels for 121 euros last week. When I got home the towel of 17 euros turned out to be superfluous and I wanted to return it today (of course unused, with all labels attached and with the receipt) and to be refunded in accordance with the legal conditions stated on the Marie-Marie website. However, before I could ask that, I was offered an exchange or voucher, and explicitly said: "we do not return money". This is completely against the policy as stated on the website.

I decided not to argue. For me, the calf had already drowned since I felt lied to. I already knew that from now on I would buy the Japanese towels that I bought from Marie-Marie somewhere else (as well as other items I bought there), websites enough. I even spent an extra 3 euros and bought another towel. But of course also my story, pointed to the conditions on the website (where the lady pretended not to know what I was talking about) with the note that I was going to adjust this review.

Then it was suddenly possible to get money back, let me also state that honestly, but unfortunately I have reached the point that the relationship has ended because I feel I was being lied to.

I can only hope that the profit on the towel of 20 euros is big enough to lose me as a regular customer, as well as my recommendations for Marie-Marie.

I like to shop at Marie-Marie. Not only are the products of good quality and / or more original than the everyday, the shop is pleasant to browse, it is especially the staff who score many points here with me. In these times I find it increasingly difficult to walk into shops and other things where you are approached as a customer in a correct way: being recognized when entering and leaving, being helpful without being pushy, being friendly, having time and interest; time and time again they are ingredients for a pleasant buying experience that I can taste every time I visit Marie-Marie. Even if I don't buy anything ...
