As s family, we have been to multiple hospitals not only LA county but in other states and abroad, this is by far THE WORST PLACE I have ever seen. We had an emergency when our son fell and got a bump on his head so Pomona Valley was the closest and it was an in-network hospital. We went to the energy room and gave our insurance details. They sent to our room a doctor who was not in-network and she looked at our son and told us to go home and put some ice (no x-ray, no blood work or anything of the sort, she didn't even physically touch him). A few weeks later we received a bill for $680 from the emergency room doctor after I called and asked why they told me the doctor was not employed by them in their own emergency room and that she charges separately (again no one informed us about that). After we received a bill from the hospital for $40 and I called them to give our secondary insurance, today I received a bill for $50 after they have I assume contacted the secondary insurance. It is higher than the original bill!!!! How is this even possible. So now we are dealing with $1000 of dollar bills from one visit that resulted in ''go home and put ice'' after going to the in-network hospital! THIS IS INSANE! Don't go here and be aware of this hospital and dishonest practices!
