We live about an hour away and we have visited numerous times. An excellent day trip destination, and probably worth an overnight if you have never been there.

The only downside is the food (mediocre and expensive), but that s typical for this type of venue. Parking and admission are free, just go somewhere else for lunch, then come back and continue your visit.
