Tycho Aussie Review of Experience Music Project

We didn't go in with any preconceptions. I mean, we like movies, and science fiction, but to see the level of detail and to have memories of my childhood evoked at every turn of a corner was amazing. Movies, books, radio ads, authors, videogames and TV shows from my youth are covered here. Pop music, classic rock, everything. It even brought forth memories of sitting in my parents house as a kid, glued to the local TV station on a rainy Saturday afternoon, watching some old B movie, like "The Blob", or "Invasion of the bodysnatchers". This is a very fascinating museum, even at the base rate. Oh yes, just beware: there's several pricing tiers the base rate, and the "premium content" rate for seeing the Marvel comics content. We opted to forego the Marvel part and still had hours of interesting things to see. The Indie videogame exhibit is neat. The shrine to Nirvana though, although I totally understand it's purpose(This IS Seattle, after all), just wasn't my gig. It is still comprehensive though, and if you are a Cobain fan (and there were many there, speaking in hushed, reverant tones) you will certainly like it.
