I'd read about this place and thought I'd give it a try since I was in the area. Reviews said fried chicken so that's what i went with. They were out of mac and cheese and everyone in the line was upset. I figured you can't go wrong with okra when it comes to soul food so I got that instead.

The chicken was pretty amazing although I'd echo the comments about quantity. 3 average size wings for $10 seems a little lacking. It was piping hot still probably 10/15 min later and the taste was very good.

The okra on the other hand was a let down. If the order has okra as the first word I expect to see a good deal of okra and instead it was more corn with some okra and tomatoes sprinkled in. The little bit of okra that was there was very tasty but definitly a little disappointed there.

As far as the staff goes. I wouldn't call it bad customer service but it definitly wasnt great either. Just average.

Lastly, this is a walk up order booth. When you pay with a card your present with a cc machine asking about tip. Why is the lowest percentage you present 17??? I'm sorry but your definitly getting into table services ranges and this is far from table service.
