I called John Paul's yesterday to inquire about a problem with my security system on my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am. Immediately, the tech who answered seemed annoyed. I tried to explain my issue (problem with Passlock system, car does not start periodically, must wait 10min for car to 'reset' to start)..I got a mumbled 'hskhgihghjfdkd...$500-$600 ". I say 'excuse me?'. He repeats something...I say 'ok, thank you', he grunts and hangs up.

Since talking to him, I have researched extensively as to the possible causes of this problem. After hours of researching and consulting with another mechanic, I have found 4 possible solutions to the problem. The solution he gave me was the most expensive hands down..by hundreds of dollars. He never even suggested bringing it into the dealership to look into which of the problems it could be or asked any follow up questions whatsoever. Quoted the highest fix and that was it. Never going or calling there again..and I am buying a new car in the next 6 months. Quite a shame.
