The Sofitel Dubai Palm is a great resort. Staff always very polite and willing to help. Service is exceptional across all areas (reception, housekeeping, restaurant). Rooms are modern, spacious and immaculately cleaned every day. There is a good choice of restaurants on site. We stayed on a half board basis which included breakfast and lunch or dinner (daily voucher enables you to choose). There is a large outdoor pool/sand area for small kids as well as an indoor children's play area so very family friendly. The resort is further away from the "big city" feel of Dubai, located on the edge of the Palm next to The Atlantis. They provide a useful shuttle bus service to the Atlantis, Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates so options to explore. Taxi prices are reasonable in Dubai. Prices are high at the Sofitel but expected for a 5 star resort (all prices include 10% service charge and 10% authority charge so nothing extra to add on). Overall, excellent!
