Review of Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa

As a 4-star hotel, I do have certain expectations ...

As a 4-star hotel, I do have certain expectations and for the most part, Sedona Rouge met them. The room was spacious and we had a really nice view. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. There are a few things that could use some updating, but I understand it's hard given Co-vid. My biggest complaint is the communication, or lack thereof, between the hotel and its on-site restaurant. Given how hard it is to dine out and find a place with available reservations, we called the front desk and they told us we were all set for a reservation. So imagine my surprise and irritation when we showed up and the restaurant was unaware of any reservation. We were stuck trying to find a restaurant last minute after 7pm and many close at 8pm. All the front desk basically said was they have no control over the restaurant and they were sorry. I was displeased in this regard. Otherwise, it is a decent stay in the area.
