A medieval fortress that survived the recent siege. Around the citadel, traces of shelling and bombing are still visible.
It s so easy not to get inside now, we were lucky.
The oldest fortifications, according to the wiki, are the 10th century, but antique artifacts, such as an amphitheater, were also found in the walls.
The modern amphitheater inside the citadel, they say, is an exact copy of that - 1st century AD.
