I almost walked out but another employee saw what ...

I almost walked out but another employee saw what was happening and took over. After walking into the store and being ignored by 3 to 4 employees who were not engaged with clients another couple came in and immediatelly greeted and offered assistance. My wife and i continued to browse. I seleted a pair of pants and walked over to a mature gentleman who was not busy to ask about sizing information. He responded in a disinterested way that they probably had my size. I then asked if he wanted me to randomly look around or if he felt it would be appropriate for him to help me locate my size. At this point it got weird and i was about to simply walk out and give money to Harry Rosen instead. The only female employee in the store saw what happened interveened and treated us respectfully.
In retrospect i know what happened. I had a pair of old jeans and bright green asics runners and t shirt on and employees perhaps decided i was not there to buy. An hour later i had purchassed close to $2k in men clothing and likely to go back.
Store owners... beware... train your people not to judge to fast and lets just treat fellow human beings well.
Thank you and see u again soon
