The hotel itself is luxurious, however slightly dated. Our room was adequate in size and had views of the 101 however the windows were dirty. Exterior windows must be cleaned for often. The horizon club was a beautiful space to relax and the breakfast offerings were standard. Some of the staff in the horizon club were nice, while others were just there. I believe that freshly squeezed orange juice is a standard offering at any five star luxury property around the world, even if it s not available on the pantry, it should be available by request. During breakfast at the club lounge, I asked for a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and was served juice from concentrate. The lounge staff gave me an excuse regarding the different oranges that they used and that is why the juice tasted like concentrate. To a person who has stayed in luxury properties all over the world, one can determine if the orange juice is freshly squeezed in one sip. So I hope the hotel does take into consideration of improving their beverage selections. We had lunch at the Xiang palace and it was superb, the best thing about this stay. The Peking duck was delicious. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
