Disagree with Bishop's recent twitter feed. If we aren't teaching gravity of sin, a priority of graver sins over other evils, etc, we aren't building Catechetical minds. The parish ought to think critically and seek a well-informed conscience...teach parishioners to fish. It is about seperating the sin from the person not declaring the sin and sinner as the same when discerning a good or a "not-good" act.
A Bishop does not have time-off to give opinion...everything he says will be digested by the flock.
