Review of GCU

I have to say, I'm surprised at the number of negative reviews about GCU. I have gotten a master's degree from GCU and am currently working on my doctorate. For those of you who are complaining about the school because they had a professor that they didn't like, it's time for a reality check. Did you love all of your instructors in your previous education? I find it hard to swallow that people would bash an entire university just because they didn't like one of their instructors. I have had an amazing experience at GCU. Have I liked all of my instructors?? NO! But that's okay. Not everyone learns like me. Because of my time at GCU, I have been challenged, I have grown, and I have become a better scholar. This is a great school and the staff and faculty CARE about their students. I saw a comment that the university "outsources" their tasks to other companies. That is simply NOT true. I have had the same enrollment counselor for my entire journey. She is sitting in a building on campus when she calls to check in. She simply wants to know how I'm doing and if I need anything. Do NOT believe the lies. Just because you don't like the way one instructor teaches, stick around! Your next instructor will be along soon enough. Give GCU a try. It is made for those of us who work full-time and you won't regret it. As for it being too easy? Talk to me after you attempt a doctorate. ;-)
